John Fitzgerald was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1963. Leaving school at the age of 16, he decided to find his own way in the world and set off to hitch-hike to Queensland with about $200 in his pocket. Fortunately, he'd turned up in the middle of a real estate boom on the stretch of South-East Queensland known as the Gold Coast, and at age 17 he found himself licensed to work in real estate.
By age 20, John had syndicated over $5 million in developments, started a national property magazine and begun trading property through the newly-formed JLF Corporation.
In the years since, John has bought, sold and developed over 5,000 properties and has amassed an extensive portfolio of residential and commercial property. John is a sought-after public speaker, seminar leader and success coach. His Seven Steps to Wealth and Untold Wealth programmes (the former also a best-selling book) have educated thousands of 'ordinary' Australians to build wealth through real estate. John has, in fact, created many millionaires in the last ten years. John Fitzgerald is also founder and chairman of the Toogoolawa Children's Homes Ltd, established in 1991. Toogoolawa ('a place in the heart', in one of the local Aboriginal languages) has fostered well over 100 children who have been categorised as youth at risk or Wards of State. John's main qualification for success coaching is... his own business, financial and personal success.
